muniThe Municipality of Pogoni was established in 2011, belongs to the General Region of Pogoni and includes 51 villages, a total area of 701 square kilometers and has a population of 11.092 inhabitants
Mayor of Pogoni is Constantine Kapsalis who was mayor of the Kalpaki municipality from 1998 to 2010. The City Council consists of 27 members and 6 Local Councils: Kalpaki, Upper Pogoniou, Upper Kalama, Delvinaki, Lavdani, Pogoniani.
The base of Pogoni Municipality is in Kalpaki and has as its historical base in Delvinaki . The municipality derived from the combination of the following Kapodisitrian municipalities : Upper Kalama, Upper Pogoni, Delvinaki, Kalpaki and communities of  Pogoniani, Landani. The largest village of Pogoni is Kefalovryso. It is bordered to the north by the municipality of Konitsa and Albania, to the east by the municipality of Zagori, south with the municipality of Zitsa and west with the municipality of Filiates and Albania.
